The Center for Advanced Training of Teachers at Osh State University was established by Rector’s Order No. 654 on September 16, 2015. The founding director was Associate Professor Zhyldyz Absalamovna Artykova, a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, who played a key role in the center’s initial development.

Since 2018, the center has been led by Associate Professor Tashbolot Abdykaimovich Dzhoroev, a candidate of pedagogical sciences. Over the years, six educational institutions affiliated with Osh State University have been integrated into the center's structure: Yiman Gymnasium, Bilim Lyceum, Kara-Kulzha Gymnasium, Nookat Gymnasium, Kara-Suu Gymnasium, and the Zirek Primary Educational Complex.

To streamline the organizational structure of Osh State University, Rector K.G. Kozhobekov issued Order No. 4175-FHD/23 on September 15, 2023, which merged the Institute for Advanced Studies, the Institute for the Professional Development of Teaching Staff, and the Adis Training Center into a single entity—the Center for Advanced Training. Associate Professor T.A. Dzhoroev, a candidate of pedagogical sciences, was appointed as the director of the newly formed center.

The center’s mission is to enable educators to quickly access and engage with the latest educational, methodological, scientific, and pedagogical advancements. It also aims to address pressing issues in educational institutions by exploring scientific, practical, pedagogical, and psychological solutions, and to equip education professionals with modern teaching technologies.
